Girls in tech (Nov 2017)

Helen specialises in teacher training, digital technologies in education, eSafety, curriculum development, and change management. She is a highly skilled teacher and mentor at both primary and secondary levels supporting the global educational landscape through initiatives such as #MissMakesCode promoting STEAM skills among teachers and students.

This webinar covered engaging girls in technology. Helen introduced a whole school approach to problem solving that can be used to assess how your school is providing programs that promote girls in tech. The webinar offered practical examples, strategies and approaches that schools can use to encourage participation of girls in technology, as well as identifying relevant resources. Part of the webinar also introduced female tech startup founders who are experts in gaming and other technology related careers.
