Mobilize
The core intent of this project is to develop methods for data collection and analysis for students. Through Mobilize units, students will engage with and learn about the nature of data. Mobilize centers its curricula around participatory sensing campaigns in which students use their mobile devices to collect and share data about their communities and their lives, and to analyze these data to gain understanding. The UCLA MobilizingCS app is a cross-platform mobile application available in the Android and Apple stores. Once installed, users can download the data collection projects and start collecting data. To access the materials users must register.
