Minecraft: Education edition
Minecraft: Education edition is a free downloadable version of Minecraft, an open world building game. This web site contains a link for teachers, schools and students to download the game for free, as well as videos describing education applications of the game, lesson plans, tutorials, example worlds and online help and support. The lesson plans outline cross curricular activities for primary and secondary students, including developing story settings, exploring biodiversity, and building a virtual Rube Goldberg machine.
