Google CS First: Friends
CS First is a free program that offers computer science projects for students aged 9-14 who sign up to be part of the club. In the friends project, students move through eight activities that focus on an creating programs with a friend and developing computer science skills. Activities include creating a truth and lie game, designing an imaginary future, making a collaborative game, creating advertising for a joint company and a reflective scrapbook. Each activity is supported by a video and project starters which students use to remix and create their own stories. Lesson plans accompany the student activities.
