Computer science in algebra
Computer science in algebra is a unit of work designed to teach algebraic and geometric concepts through computer programming. The learning sequence outlines twenty lessons covering concepts such as order of operations, the Cartesian plane, function composition and definition, and solving word problems, using context of designing a computer game. The web site includes lesson outlines, a teacher manual, a student handbook and supporting videos. Note: full resources are only available to teachers in the US participating in the associated project, but enough is included publicly for experienced teachers to supplement with their own material.
